So, what IS Legacy?

So, just what IS Legacy? Legacy is a 2D action platformer RPG. It has an open world ready to be explored. It's designed to reward curiosity. There are people to talk to, mysteries to solve, and powers to be unlocked. There is a massive, and immersive story that I am sure any and everyone will enjoy. The game is planned to be a trilogy. This iteration of the franchise (The Governed Island) takes place well, on an island. Legacy the governed island is a bit of a side game that takes place after the hopefully soon to be, first game. (Hope I didn’t confuse anyone) I won't be spoiling anything here of course, and neither will Legacy The Governed Island. There might be little hints about certain things that's going to happen in the first game but it won't be too revealing.

SO, now let's talk about the gameplay. As mentioned before Legacy is a 2D action RPG. You move left and right on a 2D plane. Don't think it's inferior just because it's 2D though, oh no. In some way's Legacy being 2D makes it special. Making a 2D world feel 3D gave birth to some interesting design decision's that gives a different, and in my honest opinion very interesting experience. It has interactive destructible environments that you could use to your advantage. With all the power your going to have, it might be hard not to destroy things. The building's are designed where you can go into them and if a brawl ensues there's a good chance the building will come down. There are a lot of powers and abilities that you will be able to get in Legacy and i promise. it will be awesome.

The game isn't finished yet but I will show some early screenshots of the game so you can get an idea of what the game looks like.

The final build will be a bit more polished but here's where it is so far. Support the campaign and Legacy will be coming to you, in 3 months! I will be doing a recording soon demonstrating some of the concepts featured in Legacy. Thanks for all your support, and see you soon!
